A George III Welsh oak box SettleReturn to category

This settle is a good size for a hallway. It would suit a family home, it just would look so much  better covered in coats and hats. The boxed interior is ideal for the shoes that you don`t use very often.

The settle is in excellent original condition, with some good detail such as the outswept arms and the tapering of the arm supports. The shaped bracket feet, another nice touch.
Probably made in Carmarthenshire or Glamorganshire around 1800-20.

131cms wide x 126cms high x 44cms deep
