A Cardiganshire oak Press CupboardReturn to category

The proportions and form of this little cupboard are typical of pieces made in West Wales, especially Cardiganshire and Carmarthenshire, hence beIng often referred to as Carmarthen or Cardigan coffers,

The timber is typically Welsh, dense and wildly grained, with a rich colour.. Bog oak inlay to the frieze and ogee stops to the canted angles add appeal.

It would make an excellent TV cabinet or booze cupboard.
