This 24 compartment spoon rack has a glorious colour and patina, ideal for the spoon collector.
The spoon rack was an essential part of cottage life since it was pretty much the only impliment used for eating. Food consisted of soups and stews, so spoons were vital. The rack also kept the spoons away from the roaming animals, and the general dust and dirt that came from the open fire plus the earth and straw floor.
