We have just taken delivery of another Dave Green masterpiece! The last chair we commissioned caused such a stir and sold to a very excited local lady for her bedroom. Now we have another this time in the F & B colour aubergine.
Sitting Firm Chairmakers is a small family run business in lthe heart of England, Dave Green uses his 25 years experience of English Windsor chair making to head up a multi skilled team to produce an exceptional collection of Windsor chairs and others. A tradition started in the early 18th century.We use only the finest quality sustainably sourced hardwoods,including English aged Ash from certified forests, many of which are in Britain.
We pride ourselves on the quality of our work using specialist techniques from years gone by including steam bending, turning and adzing which is into a single one piece seat unique to us as an English Windsor chair maker. More importantly because of the consideration of proportions these are incredibly comfy chairs be it for dining or as an occassional chair to sit and read in.
