Even after more years in this business, than we care to recollect, the relevance of certain pieces in todays world. Who has bettered the idea of drawers? They keep things dust free, and looking neat.
Its hard to credit that this piece was made in 1710, nearly 300 years ago.
What a lot of history this piece has seen, and more importantly survived in remarkable condition.

Made during the begining of the 18th century, the period covering the reigns of George 1 and Queen Anne, this striking chest with typical holly or box geometric inlay to the top and three sides.
A glorious depth of colour, with lustrerous patina.
The brass is of the correct style but of a later date.
